The Agency

Socially
Powerful

Socially Powerful started in my bedroom, buying a domain name, hoping I'd finally found something that worked and a conviction that social-first would eat the marketing world. Ten years later, it is a £40m global agency with 200+ people, four offices, no outside investment and a clear path towards our goal of £100m in yearly revenue.

How we built it

01

Social First, Always

We never treated social as a channel bolted onto a TV campaign. It was the campaign. Ideas built for the feed, made at the speed of the feed.

02

Creators As Media

Thousands of creators across every market, matched to brands by what actually travels, not by follower counts on a spreadsheet.

03

Own The Technology

Seeding, measurement and live commerce built in-house, so campaigns can be planned, launched and proven without waiting on anyone else.

04

No Outside Money

Bootstrapped from day one. Every office, every hire and every product funded by work we won and delivered.

The build, year by year

  1. 2016-17

Founded in a bedroom with one laptop. First client win from a single cold email set us on our way.

  2. 2018

We moved into Central London, as we couldn't attract top talent to the outskirts and our dingy office.

  3. 2019-21

We took a big bet on China, we opened our first international office and then COVID hit, decimating our business overnight.

  4. 2022

We started to see real demand from the US, won our first global enterprise-level brand and thought we might actually be onto something.

  5. 2024

Launched the first AI-powered influencer marketing platform, ARIA and we gave it away for FREE, disrupting the whole subscription model industry overnight.

  6. 2026 - Next

Four global offices, 200 employees and a clear pathway to get to £100m. Deeper technology, more markets, more owned products.

Still building. Target: £100m.
